究竟是工作还是学习？急！先谢谢各位
本人研究生在读。自己联系了美国一个学校，那边的boss正好手头有一个NIH的课题。并且我和他之前有过很好的交流，所以他同意要我。时间三年。他给我申请了H－1B的工作许可。当然国内的老板也是同意的。我预约了下个月签证了。现在有个问题请教大家。
DS-156表格上第21项我填了“student”，第27项我填了TO WORK AS .....第32项是问是否在美国工作，我选是的。第33项问我是否在美国学习，我选的是否。
请问大家，这种情况是不是有过？签证的时候我要如何讲呢？是否需要准备research plan？

of course write "work".
You definitely need prepare research plan unless you want to get checked. do not forget bring your resume.

Thanks for your replay.
But could you tell me how to prepare a reseach plan? What contents should I throw in it?As you konw, I just got the grants's title and the PI's name. Then what should I do now?Is there any sample?
