由于很多年没回国了，不知道现在的状况。我当时在上海念书，毕业签的F1，6年前回国时也是在上海签的，这次机票定在了北京，想在北京签H1B，以为没关系，打去电话预约时被告知不行。有人有类似经验吗？这样的话我还要改飞上海。多谢了！

as long as your reason is valid. the customer service people of visa appointment know nothing. do not waste your time on them.
