better not. i heard of some cases the parents got asked a lot of questions when they show their one way ticket at US custom. too much hassle for parents. why bother

Are you saying they need to see the ticket at immigration? Why would they do that? Shouldn't they just look at the passport and visa? Thanks!

如果因为没有回程机票而在美国海关被拒绝入境的话你就亏大了。当然，这是小概率事件，最有可能的是在海关被盘问个底朝天，最后给你3个月或者1个月的停留期限恶心你一下。当然也有可能是半年，如果你运气好的话。
