My mom will try to get a B2 visa to visit us in US one more time. Does anyone know whether I can accompany her during the interview? I'll visit my mom and other relatives at the end of this month and have a green card. My mom had tried a couple of times before without a success, the lastest being in 2003. Would the US consulate in Shanghai let me in with my mom? Also someone told me her case is called "PASS" for visa appointment purposes. Is it correct? Thanks for all your help!!!

有护照才能不经过预约进入领事馆。如果我没有记错，即使有绿卡也要预约才能进入领事馆。非移民签证的面谈不需要陪同，有时候直接让你站远点，有时候不会让你说话，所以陪同也没用。听说也有陪同的，多年前，翁凡去签证的时候，她老公就陪同了的。嘿嘿，没有亲见，耳闻而已。
任何消息，以领事馆的官方消息为准，其他的，只能做个参考而已。

我好像最近才在mitbbs上看到有人说陪父母一起签的，结果父母过了，他自己被check乐，忘了是f1还是h1b了，绿卡的就没听说过了
