12.18面试, 被check至今没有结果,前几次打电话问都说还是pending,上周五说是processing security check. pending和processing有什么区别,大概还需要多长时间?
今天在太傻上看到12.19的人都已经拿到通知了,真是羡慕,希望我的签证也快点来

the second question: Did you want to find a job in US after graduation when you were studying in US?
my answer is: No.

I had the appointment date on Jan 2, 2007, but got deferred to Jan 8 because of President Ford's funeral. Only two or three questions were asked, like "What company do you work for?" "What kind of work do you do?" "Do you like your job?". Then I got the visa.

我老姨24日在沈阳以B2身份签成, 面试的是一位40岁左右的白人男签证官. 我父母是97年以B2身份来美,延期了一次, 后来转成H1及H4, 两年前拿到绿卡. 他们是邀请人, 问了几个简单的问题:
(1)你去美国干什么? 答: 旅游及看看姐姐
(2)你姐姐在哪儿结的婚?
(3)你的工作是什么, 工作了多长时间? 答: 退休前工作了三十多年.
(4)你有几个孩子? 答:两个.
(5)你儿子多大?
(6)你打算去多久, 答: 2-3个月.
(7)有没有你姐姐回来的照片,我老姨拿出这两次我妈回国时的照片.
然后就给小条了,老姨问了问讯处的人才知道已经签成了.
整个面试时间仅2-3分钟. 为了准备面试, 老姨事先特地去美容院化了妆,做了头发.
除了照片,其余所有材料包括邀请信都没有看.

I haven't been back to China for almost 10 years. This was picked up by the interviewer from the very beginning, even before fingerprinting. He joked I made a new record. Things went pretty well afterwards because there's no problem with my files, until he noticed that I got my PhD in Aerospace. His funny tone went away and he started to punch the keyboard and read the screen seriously. A couple of minutes later I was told my case needs to be further processed.

My parents came to U.S.A in 2004. My dad went back China after 3 months and my mom stated in U.S.A for 11 months (renewed her I-94 once). They are very lucky and both got visa again on Jan. 24, 2007. Just asked one question (for my mom): don't stay too long this time.

Lg passed H4 visa.

Questions:
when did your wife go to usa?

when did you wife come back to China?

What does your wife do?

Is there any evidence to prove your relationship?

Lg showed her our pictures, visa officer looked at an album, and paid attention on one pic which I kicked lg's butt, hahahaha... she smiled and asked lg " what were you guys doing?" lg said" My wife took it when we were playing puzzles"
