[签证经历] B2 上海 12/04/2009 通过
My parents just got their first time B2 visa in Shanghai.
The appointment is 7:30 am, they arrived at 6:45 am and got out before 9am.
I am a F1 student in US for 6+ years and traveled back to China for 3 times.
My parents first gave my letter to the counselor. He took a look and
asked:
1. How long will you stay? (~1 month)
2. Have you ever been abroad? (No)
2. Are you both working as ...? (Yes)
3. Do you have your son's documents? (My parents passed my passport/I-94/ visa/I-20 copies to him.)
Then the counselor typed in his computer for a long time and told my parents 'you both passed'.
He didn't take a look at any supporting materials from my parents' side including family photos.
My father's sister is a US citizen and we were worrying about this. But he didn't ask any question about this at all although he should have learned this from my dad's DS156.
Good luck to all of you!
