I successfully invited my sister to accompany my parents to US. You got to make up a very good reason to invite non-direct relatives to US. All in all, it's not easy, but it is possible and easier than what it was before.
You can say your aunt is closed related to your life, she is rich, etc and etc.
When my sister went for visa, I ask them to go in the same day and apply separately, let my sister stand a few positions behind my parents.
