change status from F1 to H1B
I was 10 minutes late for my interview... but they still let me in.
So I was pretty much the last one that day. The Visa Officer was quite nice, but when he heard I was EE major and working for semiconductor company, his face pretty much said that I was going to be checked.
Then he pulled out the little blue sheet and started circling documents to send to him, however I have brought most of them. I would probably feel better if he had asked me for those documents before he informed me that he need more time to review my case. Not fair :(
Well, I am home waiting... Just checked the Visa application status webpage, there is only one case on Jan 28th posted, and it is not mine... So, wondering how long does it take for the application status to appear, and where else I can call or email to follow up?

Thanks, it is on the bottom of the blue form 221(g)... where it says it may take 2-3 days for status to be updated on the webpage.

BTW, it is probably because I didn't include the batch# in the subject line of the email, which caused the delay... I am still waiting for the website to be updated.

Hi, I got a phone call and was informed that the status won't be updated on the webpage... Guess we just have to be patient :/
