Took Metro Line 2 @ West Nanjing RD. Took elevator to Floor 8.

Waiting in line. ( Please be there on time. If you arrive there too late, you may not be able to get in. When I were there around 9:45 am, the security person mentioned that people with appointments earlier than 9:00 am can go home.)

Entering the office, passing security check, finishing passport returning EMS form, waiting for submitting application materials. Two lines to Window 1 and 2. The required materials for H1B: on line DS160 confirmation, passport, visa fee receipt, I-797 original, EMS form. A call number is given. When your number is called at Window 3, you will get your materials back in a transparent plastic folder and wait for finger prints collection at Window 4 and 5. When you finish the finger print, you can wait for visa interview (Window 6-12).

Me: How are you doing today?
VO: Good, and you?
Me: Fine, thanks.
VO: What's your purpose to America?
Me: I work there.
VO: (Smile) I work here.
VO: What do you do?
ME: I teach at xxxxxx
VO: Interesting, you like there?
Me: Yes, the weather there is similar to Shanghai.
VO: OK. Have a safe trip, Professor xxx
Me: Thank you. You have a good one.

The passport was delivered on Dec. 17, 2010
