H1B checked on 7/26/10, cleared on 8/12/10

Working for a National Lab. Back to China for a Conference.

Checked on July 26, cleared on Aug 12. Visa issued by the Shanghai Embassy on Aug 13. Delivered to the Post Office (on Julu road) 5 pm Aug 13 (learned from the postmark on the package).

No notification email or phonecall from the Shanghai Embassy.

Don't expect someone contact you if your visa is in Shanghai. Call Washington and the post office for updates. (the post office boy is not prompt in picking up the phone, so just try and try...)
