VO is an white American with glasses. Totally five questiones were asked:
Why do you apply working visa? A: I want to go back to work for ... company.
What's your salary? A: US$ 88888...
What's your job position? A: My work is ... engineer, basically I am in charge of ..... the software is ....
Do you have Ph.D. degree? From which School? A; Yes. from ...U
Your major? A: ...
Your application is approved. A: Thanks.

I haven't applied immigration. So no record.

If your 140 is approved, they may ask you if you have AP etc. You might prepare more document to support the potential questions. I prepared over 30 items, but that VO didn't see nothing and the interview took only 2 minutes.

6. Salary stub for 3 months

8. Career plan
9. House purchase and loan
10. House's utility bill
11. Bank Statement
12. Previous EAD
13. Previous I-20
14. Birth certificate
15. Parent's Apartment verfication
16. Inviting letter from my parent
17. Spouse's materials
18. Business card
19. Emails or mails from company
20. Insurance of US
etc..
If you are prepared, you will be approved 100%.

如果从工作地入境, 就不应该担心吧? 也是的, 如果你回来工作, 却不在工作地或相近的口岸入境, 当然会引起怀疑了.

I work in DC, but I have one stop in NY first...don't know if there is any problem... sigh..

You should be OK if you have traveled the same routine before. Even if not, you can show them your ticket from NY to D.C. I couldn't worry that much.

想问问楼主或最近在广州签过H1B的人：

如果是周四签证，最快可以什么时候在邮局取签证？

本来以为可以约周一的签证，现在才发现H1B都在周四签，不知道周六或周日可不可以取到签证。已经买好了回美国机票，怕来不及，急死了。Thanks!

You will get your visa in three business days no matter the holiday like Memorial days in US. If you select pick up in person, you will get it in the morning after the three business days. They will inform you by phone which you gave them the afternoon day before. Very efficient.
