[签证经历] H1B 上海 10/21/2009 Check

The VO's questions: What are you doing? Where is your company? Do you have any documents about your company? You graduated from **** unveristy? Do you have a resume?

Then he said there was no problem for the visa but there was a background check because of my working field. It took 2-3 weeks.

My background: I got my PhD in the USA and am working in the USA with H1B visa. Last year, I came back to China and got my H1-B visa in Shanghai smoothly. I have never changed the company. While this year I got checked.

If you have similar experience, please help me:
1) What's DOS number? I read that some people called DOS. What's that number?

2) Does it take 2-3 weeks to clear up? I have not heard anyone who got checked got the visa in 2-3 weeks.
