27/09 Beijing B2 1K pass, 附材料清单和给VO的陈述信

9月27号9点半北京场，使馆指纹机有问题，所有人护照都退回，下午两点半回去按指纹，护照，签证确认页被收回。

主要问了几个关于我的问题，包括出生日期，出生地，出国多长时间(要了签证看)，中途为何转校，总共一分钟左右的时间。。。

下面是所有材料:

2、 F-1学生签证复印件

4、 I-20表格复印件
5、 学校注册中心入学证明
6、 系研究生办公室证明
7、 各种ID复印件

因为是第一次签证，我给爸妈准备了一个简单的instruction:
1. 预约时间30分钟之前应到达使馆东门入口，排队等候入场；
2. 进入，凭护照与预约名单进行核对；
3. 接受安全检查：会将查出的电器拣出寄存（领寄存号牌）；然后携带经检查通过的背包等进入签证厅。
4. 排队到指定窗口递交签证申请表和护照，此处需要提交给中国工作人员的材料：
a) 中国护照（用透明胶带将您的照片贴在护照封面上）；
b) DS-160表格确认页（注明您的中文姓名、您中文姓名的电报码、中文家庭地址、公司名字及地址）（我已填好）；
c) 中信银行签证申请费收据原件（将收据用胶水或胶条粘贴在确认页的下半页上）（参考我寄给你们的范例）。
5. 提交材料后会领到一个有颜色的牌子；
6. 按领取到的牌子颜色排队，等待指纹扫描；
7. 继续按颜色排队，等待和签证官面谈。如果签证获批，签证官将把护照留下印签证，同时你们会拿到一张浅绿色的纸条以及一张办理邮寄手续的说明。(不确定的话要和签证官问清楚。)
8. 到安检处，凭寄存牌取回物品。
9. 凭浅绿色纸条到邮局办理护照快递。

给VO的statement letter

Dear Consul,

My name is robertgb. I am writing on behalf of my parents, Mr. XXX and Ms. YYY, to apply for tourist visas so that they may visit me during Christmas time this year. I came to the States in summer 200X for advanced education. Currently I am a graduate student in the Department of XXX at XXX University, under my 01 visa.

Last winter I went back home and had a great time with my parents, but it was a shame that I only got to stay with them for a few weeks. This time my parents and I have agreed on that the upcoming winter holiday season would be a good time for them to pay a visit to me and take a tour in the US. Their trip to the States will be a temporary family reunion and splendid travel experience. I would really love to show them how my everyday life here in XXX looks like. I am living in the great city of XXX and it is definitely one of the best places to enjoy life and spend some quality time with families. We also have plans to travel around the country during my winter break. My parents are both working for XXX Company and they are both getting annual leaves (paid) from the company. They have stable incomes and savings to support all their travel expenses for this trip.

My parents will stay in the US for only one and a half months, because their jobs do not allow a longer vacation and they want to be home in time to join the other family members for the traditional Chinese Spring Festival.
