入关时需要出示I-797原件吗？这次将是第二次入境，上次是一个月前。第一次时因为要签证带了原件，这次因为临时决定要出差没有想到这个问题，原件在总公司来不及要了，明天就走。复印件和"personal records" 那片小纸行不行啊？急!

it is not necessary, but many times they will ask you for that, so they can tell your H1-B expiration date (although they can find from the i94). i was asked many times so i attach the 797 in my passport now.
