I am still anxiously waiting for my visa and it has been six weeks. Washington D.C. has not received my files from the consulate in Guangzhou as late as yesterday and my case is still pending. If your case is checked, remember to call DOS 202-663-1225 to confirm whether and when they received your files. When you call, if your case if pending, remember to ask why your case is pending.
